Brianna is a Garnett Passe & Rodney William Memorial Foundation early-career research fellow based at the University of Tasmania. She was born and raised in Tasmania, and since commencing post-doctoral research in 2023, has been dedicated to establishing an independent otitis media research program in her hometown Launceston. Her current research is focused on developing novel therapeutic agents that could be used to prevent/treat otitis media in children. Her passion for this work stems from childhood experience with chronic middle ear infections which has had a major impact on her life, as it has for so many kids around the world.
